1. The Chinese customs statistics released in October, China exported 81,971 tons of garlic, about 41% less than September, and about 22% less than last October. But the total exports of garlic from Jan to Oct is 1,419,223 tons, more than 2010 full-year exports.

2. State Council issued documents to rectify the electronic trading market. As there is someone manipulate the garlic price in the electronic market, seriously disrupting the spot market price, the State television reported it, and the government recently issued a document asked rectify the electronic trading market to ensure their normally and orderly development.

3. Currently there’s about 1.2 million tons stock of garlic, the domestic market consumes about 100,000 tons per month. In December the consumption will be obviously increase before the new year and the Chinese new year come. It will lead to the price rise a bit.
